Creative Play Residence is a vibrant and intentional community based in Hoi An, Vietnam. Here, we live by what we value most. Together, we’ve crafted a lifestyle that celebrates creativity, improvisation, connection within the community and to the natural world. We believe that living cooperatively in a supportive and joyful environment provides each of us with the safety, encouragement, and inspiration to live creatively from the inside out.
Creative Play Residency is made of Douglas Holwerda and Linh Trinh. They met on stage together as two strangers, jamming to “Mr. Tambourine Man” at a local open mic. Their friendship continued to grow in the direction of music and gathering. It took them to this harbour-view villa where they now call home.
“What if my daily life is full of music, dance, good foods and beautiful connections? What if I don’t have to go somewhere else to find it but here at home?”
